Plan to spend about an hour at the office. New patients should arrive ten to fifteen minutes before their scheduled appointment to complete registration paperwork. To see you as quickly as possible, and to enhance your convenience, these forms are provided here to download and complete in advance:

Plan to spend about thirty minutes with Doctor Tuchler, and then another thirty minutes with his assistant. First, he will review your medical history as well as your surgical goals and expectations. After this you will be examined. We share your concern for privacy and discretion.
Dr. Tuchler will discuss your options and review risks, potential complications and the recovery period. You need to be comfortable making this important decision. He will take whatever time is needed to answer your questions and address your concerns. You may return for additional consultation visits at no charge if you haven't gotten all of your questions answered or would like to discuss other options. Also, Dr. Tuchler and his staff are always willing to answer email if you prefer. You will be provided with educational brochures. These have clear explanations with pictures that cover details of many procedures. Next, you will be given an itemized, written estimate for the cost of your surgery and view "before and after" photographs. Dr. Tuchler's assistant and nurse will answer any other questions you have about the surgery and scheduling process.
Dr. Tuchler is a member of numerous insurance plans. Refer to your insurance provider directory to confirm his current participation. If your insurance plan requires a referral, you must obtain this from your primary care physician and provide it to us with your insurance card at your first visit. If you are unable to keep your appointment, please call and give us as much notice as possible to allow another patient to be seen during that time.

I am Dr. Tuchler's patient coordinator/administrative assistant. I can answer your questions regarding the many different procedures that Dr. Tuchler performs. I will schedule your consultation as well as your surgery, discuss cosmetic fees and manage insurance cases. I have been with Dr. Tuchler for 10 years and find it very rewarding. I am Dr. Tuchler's office nurse. I will accompany you and Dr. Tuchler in the exam rooms and in our office operating room. I can answer your medical questions that might arise before and after your surgery. I have been with Dr. Tuchler for five years and had worked in the operating room at local hospitals since 1998. I enjoy helping patients prepare for surgery and in your recovery and strive to make all of our patients feel welcome and well cared for.
